Our Story

Chatham Physiotherapy Clinic was established in 1989 by owner/operator Philip Rance, Reg. PT, PH.D.

We have recently re-located to 20 Emma St. Building B after a fire took over our previous location. Our clinic has partnered with many community agencies to ensure Chatham residents receive high quality care within our facility and throughout the community.

At the clinic, we understand the importance of reducing pain and restoring function to improve your health so you can return promptly to a full and active life. The clinic offers an extensive range of manual and electrical modalities, traction, and laser therapies, an onsite rehabilitation gym and work hardening/work simulation area. Chatham Physiotherapy Clinic was established by Phil Rance in has lived in Chatham Kent for over 25 years.  He is an accomplished practitioner and presenter, having delivered workshops and seminars to other rehab professionals as well as the public and private sectors.

Phil is currently Program Coordinator of the OTA/PTA program at St. Clair College (Thames Campus).  He also teaches in the program.  He is married with two adult children. His interests include acapella music, playing squash, and travel.
